Happy New Year! and what’s to come

“All glory comes from daring to begin.” – Eugene F. Ware

January 1 seems like a good time as any to start something new. I’m launching a website, this blog and an online business as the first step towards my lifestyle redesign. Pretty cool. I’ve been working hard over the last few weeks to get the website up and running. Talk about a learning curve. It has been worth all the struggles though.

In the next few posts, I’m going to talk about how I came to this place. It has been a long journey here. I know it will be an ongoing journey.

so what is this all about anyway?

I’m glad you asked. I want to share with you what I have learned. That is the basic premise for this website and this blog in particular. On the journey to where I am today as well as what I know I will learn in the months to come. If you think you want to embark on a similar path (but with your own personalized approach, of course), maybe there will be some good stuff here to consider. I hope so. That is one of my goals.

Another goal is to create accountability. My accountability. I’m starting this business as part of my lifestyle redesign but I’m planning to be a soloist. I’ll need help and I’ll need some structure so I will get things done. I need a way to keep myself honest. So I’m going to post my goals and my results. In the weeks to come, I’ll let you know what I’m planning. Down the road, I’ll report on my progress.

The cvmccann.com website will be the home to my new business venture. The blog will be hosted here, too. It just seems so much simplier to keep everything together in one place. As you will see, I am a big fan of “simple.” I plan to showcase my services and products (yet to be developed). 🙂

I expect my blog postings will be eclectic. It really will be a reflection of my interests as well as what I’m learning. The work, my products and services will be more focused to suspect. The point is to offer something of value to you. I want (and need) you to keep coming back. Maybe you would consider subscribing to my newsletter (see the box over to the right). The newsletter is first of “product” I’m creating. I will be more than the information in the blog and it will be much more indepth. I hope you will give it a try.

Finally, I have a deep desire to find and connect with my tribe. You know, those like-minded folks in the world who see what I’m trying to do. Those people who have either walked the path I’m on or are considering it. I’m going to need support and encouragement. I’m looking to all of you to offer your suggestions and comments.

so what’s next?

This is just the beginning folks! I have so much I want to do and so much I want to share. I can’t wait to start this party.

So tell me:

  • Do any of these ideas resonate with you?
  • What is your advice on new beginnings?

Comments? Feedback? Let me know.

Cheers, Catherine
